Fashion from 2029

In class today we did a warm up - draw what we will be wearing 20 years from now. My version: with the rising cost of fabric and textiles due to tougher laws protecting the rights/compensation of workers, clothing becomes increasingly expensive. Recycled fashion is the norm for all classes and income levels. Boutique stores buy up from Goodwill and with alteration - create exciting new looks. Where consumers scrimp and save on clothes, they splurge on wigs and hats - which are all the rage. Bonnets are in - making ironic statements about purity and innocence. Inspiration for 2029 comes from the 19th century and before.
